Jo is the founder of Campuspr. She has worked in the press office at the University of Leeds and as PR Officer at Leeds Innovations, the University's technology transfer company, where she was responsible for the promotion of spinout companies to the local, national and specialist trade and technical media.

Jo is also a former member of the core management team of the AlphaGalileo Foundation - a European multi-lingual internet press centre. She was closely involved in AlphaGalileo's strategic transition from a fully funded EU pilot project to a subscription based business for academic and research institutes, charities and funding organisations throughout Europe.

A former journalist and trade journal editor with a decade of writing, editing and publishing experience, Clare worked on a freelance basis for a range of commercial and public sector clients prior to joining Campuspr as a shareholder and director in 2004.

Her experience spans the production of press releases, newsletters, magazines, websites and other marketing materials, ensuring their message is at the right level for intended audiences.

She also has experience of providing a full PR function to clients, including large networking organisations with a business focus and particularly those supporting early-stage companies seeking investment.

Beck graduated from Cambridge University in 1996.  After training as a journalist, she worked for two years for a daily newspaper in Cambridge. From 1999 to 2003 she worked for the University of Cambridge's Press and Publications team, liaising with the University's science departments and Technology Transfer Office to promote research in the media, and produce high-profile University internal and external publications, including its Annual report.

Following a move to Leeds in 2003, Beck worked for the National Trust in press liaison and corporate publications. A move to Birmingham, in 2005, led to a job within the community and regeneration sector, working on local publications for the Government's flagship New Deal for Communities programme. Beck left to set up Campuspr Midlands Ltd in 2008.

Abigail Chard

An all-round communications professional, Abigail is able to turn her hand to internal communications, stakeholder relations, publications, campaigns, website development and media relations.

Abigail has worked for Campuspr since 2006. A public sector specialist, she is used to working with large and diverse organisations, including universities, local government, health trusts and fire and rescue services.

Abigail has significant experience within higher education and related sectors, having worked in the University of Leeds press office and  - more recently - as Head of Communications at the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (UKRC).

Louise joined Campuspr in 2005 to handle the day to day running of the office and deal with company finances. Louise has extensive administrative experience, including seven years as an office manager for a national examination awarding body.

Louise's experience spans both the education and publishing sectors and she has a wide range of administrative and written skills, as well as second-to-none editing and proofreading skills.
